Seeley Lake, Montana

In late August when we were there, the most stunning part of Seeley Lake Campground in Lolo National Forest was the bridge you cross on the way with a breathtaking view of the river paved with a wide band of blooming lily pads on both sides. Many of the widely spaced campsites set in the tall trees have lake views. There are no hookups but there are restrooms with flush toilets and potable water is available.

The wifi was excellent, and the nearby town of Seeley Lake was fun to explore. We loved eating at a picnic table down by the lake adjacent to Lindey’s Prime Steak house. There’s a food truck tucked away down by the lake doesn’t serve prime rib, but the view is extraordinary! Don't miss the BBQ Pit for some excellent smoked chicken! Best we have ever had!
