Cloverdale, California

The Russian River Resort just north of Cloverdale, California holds a special place in our hearts because of the warm and accommodating staff who encouraged us through the rehab portion of Lee’s recovery from heart transplant and also provided a haven during the early shut-down phase of the Covid pandemic. I can still see all the green balloons and happy cheering faces at the gate when they reopened the park! We have family nearby and at least twice a year, Lee has checkups at UCSF, so this is really a second, albeit stationary home for us.

It’s a beautiful park with beach access on the Russian River. The sites are well-spaced winding up the hillside, so we’ve rarely had the same wooded view twice. Cloverdale is only a few miles away and is one of those charming small towns where everyone seems to know each other. From here, you can explore wineries to the south, or travel north to the charming even-smaller town of Hopland or the whale-watching mecca of Mendocino.

Obviously we don’t take Nutrilite™ Kids Multivitamins, but we’ve heard rave reviews from friends with young children and the Russian River Resort in Cloverdale, California is one of the places where we really enjoy seeing the kids flying around on their bicycle and scooters. The great thing about these gummies – besides getting past vitamin reticence is that they fill your kid’s nutrition gaps, while also supporting immunity, bone health and vision with 12 vitamins and minerals. It’s made with plant nutrients from five—yep, count them, five—colorful food groups. It’s like a tasty rainbow in your kid's mouth.
